Find me on Facebook where you can get access to daily training for online marketing and let’s get to know each other!

But before we become virtual friends, who the heck am I anyways?

Well, this whole online and networking marketing thing wasn’t always in the cards for me. My background is in Chemical Engineering. Growing up it was pretty clear that college and a successful corporate job were in my future and I did just that. I graduated from Purdue University back in 2010 (Go Boilers!) and immediately started a career in vaccine manufacturing and continue to work in this industry today. It’s very rewarding to know that you are helping save lives and helping ensure the safety of public health. Yea, yea, I have a great career and profession..so how did I end up in online marketing anyways?
Well there’s a whole other back story that I failed to mention! I’ve actually grew up surrounded by entrepreneurs and the beauty industry. I grew up with a mother and 3 aunts who were hairstylists and owned their own businesses for over 30 years. When I was 16, I knew that I needed a part time job to get me through high school and college but being the over achiever I was, I didn’t want the typical job. If I was going to work hard, I wanted to bring in a decent income. Since my family was in the beauty industry, I decided to get licensed to be a nail technician. So I spent 6 months during my freshman year of high school completing my education and getting licensed in the state of Ohio. Shortly thereafter, I starting working in a Spa part time and continued to do so through the rest of high school. After going to college and working on a demanding Chemical Engineering degree and finally starting my career, I really didn’t have the time to do nails and I since I was moving forward with my career it wasn’t something that I needed to generate income. Fast forward 3 years, my fiance at the time (now husband) and I moved to North Carolina to start working with new companies. I realized that I really missed doing nails because it was a creative outlet for me. So back in 2013, I found a local salon (The Junction) in our current hometown of Raleigh and started working there one night a week to really meet new people, and get back to doing nails that I love. So if you are even in Raleigh, you can still find me there one night a week.

Okay, so I still haven’t told you what ANY of this has to do with online and network marketing. Okay, be patient girTiffiny Rummelll, I’m getting there! So back in 2015, my life was in a really good spot. My husband Karim and I were just planning our wedding, I was in a new position with my career, and I was working part time doing nails that I loved. Everything was going great! What else could I ask for? Well it was at this point that I was really starting to think about the future (I mean we were getting married and all) and I was starting to think about what my life would look like in 5 to 10 years. Knowing that kids were in our future, I was yearning for a side project that I could make my own and something that would give me an extra source of income and at least give us flexibility and options if we needed them in the future.

My husband knew that I was looking for a side project and he came across one of his previous work colleagues who is also a chemical engineer and was selling beauty and skincare products. He was very intrigued by how well she was doing with it, and since he really respected her and told me that I should reach out to her. So that’s exactly what I did and that’s how I was introduced to my first network marketing company. Plus, because the company was selling skincare products it fit in perfectly with my interests being in the beauty industry for nearly 12 years. So I jumped right in and never looked back.

Like the leaders in my industry, I got off to a fast start. I was bringing in customers and had a few people join me in business. I followed the typical old school marketing methods of reaching out to friends, sending Facebook messages about how we should “catch up”, prospecting every person in a 3-foot radius, and for every 100 people I talked to maybe 1 or 2 would even respond to me.  And this isn’t to knock the old school methods, because at the end of the day, it’s a numbers game, and if you do it for long enough consistently, you WILL be successful. But I really struggled with the efficiency of the process. I am an engineer by trade and we strive for efficiency. I felt like if I was going to put that much time into my network marketing business then I wanted to be efficient and get results that were in line with my effort.

I had toyed around with blogging and websites in the past, so that is really when I started to explore the idea of online marketing to not only diversify my income, but to brand myself (not my network marketing business). The idea of attraction marketing and providing value to people so that they actually WANT to work with you, was really in line with my personality.

So I spent months (yes months) doing research and looking at different systems and really trying to map out how I wanted to approach this whole internet thing. I had come across this Training Platform a few different times. To be honest, I wasn’t really sure if it was going to be for me or not. But from all the research I had been doing, I knew that I just had to get started! I need that bump, shove, or something just to push me over the edge and start doing it. That was the most valuable thing this system did for me. I had done a lot of research and playing around with website so I didn’t need a Done-For-You program. However, the value and community that comes along with it was what I needed! The most important piece of advice I can give you if you are or have been thinking about online marketing for your network marketing or other business. Just. Do. It. Don’t waste time like I did for months, just find a sponsor, mentor, or coach that resonates with you and get to work! And if you need support or help along the way, I’m here for you!!

So how might I serve you?
